To apply for a job in a WA public school, you will need the relevant teacher qualifications and registration2. Before you start your first day of work with us, you'll need to meet our requirements for employment eligibility3.

There are several ways you can apply for a job.
Apply to the Graduate Teacher Pool
Public school principals can use the Graduate Teacher Pool to find and employ graduate teachers.
Read the Graduate Teacher Pool advertisement5 and follow the steps to apply. To make it easier for you to apply, have the following documents ready:
- tax invoice from the Teacher Registration Board of WA, if you are in your final semester of study
- academic transcripts (you can use printouts of current courses)
- proof of residency or eligibility to work in Australia (or both)
- current resume with contact details for 2 referees.
Apply for one of our current jobs
Our current jobs page6 lists all our current job opportunities. These include vacancies at our schools and workplaces as well as our various recruitment pools, including the Remote Teaching Service pool7 and the Teacher Flying Squad pool8.
