Wellbeing and support for staff

Wellbeing and support for staff

Whether you’re in front of a class of kids or providing support from one of our offices, keeping physically and mentally healthy is just as important for our staff as it is for our students.

Health and wellbeing information

Health and wellbeing information and resources are available for our staff.

These include activities, articles, videos and tools to help staff care for themselves and their family.

Corporate health insurance discounts

Staff can access discounts on health insurance premiums and other services from our corporate health partners.

Optical aids subsidy

Staff can claim out-of-pocket expenses for 50% of the cost of prescription glasses or contact lenses.

Free and confidential counselling

To find information about our counselling provide PeopleSense, call 1300 307 9121 or visit the PeopleSense website2.

Employee Assistance Program

Through our Employee Assistance Program (EAP), staff and their immediate family can access free, professional and confidential counselling services.

Staff can use the service for personal or work-related issues that impact their general wellbeing or mental health. Sessions are available face-to-face or over the phone.

Manager Assistance Program

We know our senior staff may face challenging or emotional situations in the course of their work.

They can get support and guidance for people-related issues through the Manager Assistance Program (MAP).

Access to the MAP doesn’t count towards staff entitlements for EAP counselling.
