Our Leap into School Psychology program provides an easy way to ‘try on the job’ to see if school psychology is right for you.
This program is fully funded by the Department of Education.
The unique design of our Leap program involves:
- 5 modules of self-paced online learning with guest speaker presentations and discussions on a range of topics
- up to 4 days of work shadowing with our school psychologists
- a presentation day where participants share learning.
Our Leap program is suitable for psychologists with:
- provisional registration, either completing internships or completing postgraduate studies in psychology (a Master of Professional Psychology)
- general registration with the Psychology Board of Australia, who are looking to leap into a school psychology career.
We also offer placement opportunities for Master of Professional Psychology (MPP) students.
Our next program starts in Term 4, on Wednesday 15 October 2025. To express interest in the program, fill out the Leap into School Psychology expression of interest form, and we will contact you with more information about the program.
