Our staff

Our college supervisors and staff provide support to help our students succeed at school and after school.

We assist with homework and medical care and ensure students feel safe and comfortable. We organise fun after-school activities for students like community sports, shopping days, beach outings and fishing.

The college is led by experienced college manager Michael Gilmour. Our caring team is made up of:

  • 10 experienced supervisors (5 male and 5 female) who live on site and care for students
  • a medical supervisor who is responsible for all medical, dental and specialist appointments
  • administration staff who help with ABSTUDY, travel, enrolments and fee enquiries
  • ancillary staff including kitchen, laundry and cleaning staff.

To ensure the best possible standard of duty of care, all supervisory staff hold current qualifications, including:

  • Certificate IV in Community Services - Student Residential Care (CHC42021)
  • Provide First Aid (HLTAID011) certificate and Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) (HLTAID009) certificate
